Just days after Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson filed a defamation lawsuit against her co-star Kelly Dodd, Bravo, and NBCUniversal, the OG of the OC has dropped her legal claim. Gunvalson was trying to stop the network from airing an upcoming RHOC episode that featured Dodd making some allegedly defamatory remarks about her during a confrontation, but it appears that Gunvalson has changed her mind.

According to Us Weekly, Gunvalson filed the suit in a Los Angeles courthouse on November 1st as Jane Roe, and she was seeking an injunction on airing the episode plus damages from Dodd. Gunvalson reportedly didn’t like three comments that Dodd made: “You prey on older people,” “You are a con woman,” and “you engaged in fraud.”

The 57-year-old claimed that Dodd’s statements were “false,” and she believed they could damage her business and professional reputation. However, an insider says that the More Than A Housewife author has withdrawn the suit just days after filing.

“Vicki withdrew her suit against the network, production company and Kelly,” the insider says. “No scenes were edited out. Their confrontation will still be seen in an upcoming episode. And Vicki is planning to attend the reunion.”

Gunvalson – who is the CEO of Coto Insurance – dropped her complaint against Bravo and NBCUniversal just hours after filing, but, she continued her defamation suit against Dodd. But now, it looks like Gunvalson has dropped the case entirely.

When the news of the lawsuit broke, it didn’t go over well with fans. Many pointed out that Gunvalson had no right to go after Dodd over defamation when she accused Dodd during last season’s reunion of doing cocaine. The ladies have been feuding for a while, and Dodd promised this past summer that she will never be friends with Gunvalson again.

Dodd also admitted that she was “jumping for joy” when she found out that Bravo had demoted Gunvalson from full-time cast member to friend of the show. Dodd believes that Gunvalson has nothing going on her life, so she uses everyone else as a story line.

Dodd explained that Gunvalson’s kids are gone and her grand-kids are across the country, and at this point everyone is sick of her story. She then she asked if fans are going to be happy watching Gunvalson and her fiance Steve Lodge sit on the couch and drink wine.

Kelly Dodd says that all good things must come to an end, and it’s time for Vicki Gunvalson “to go bye-bye” because her story stale.
