During a new interview, Mandy Moore revealed that she was supposed to undergo surgery to fix her supposed fertility issues before she learned that she was pregnant! The actress was believed to have endometriosis and other issues with her uterus.
Now, while chatting with Romper, Moore shared a lot of details about her pregnancy journey!

‘We did ovulation tests, all that stuff. I was fully prepared to have surgery and fix my uterus and get rid of the endometriosis hopefully, if it was there. It was nice to have a plan and know, OK, well, this is why I have not been pregnant yet.’

But now, as fans also know, Moore and her husband, Taylor Goldsmith, are currently expecting their first addition to the family, a son!
The great news was shared back in September.
‘I guess I understand why doctors tell you, like, ‘Oh, just try for a year, and then if nothing happens, you can start sort of investigating.’ But I was like, man, I wish I had known before. It would’ve been a game changer had I had that information,’ she added.

The actress learned she was expecting not too long before her surgery.
However, she was still pretty cautious when it comes to sharing the news with the public or even too many in her life.
Naturally, because of her fertility problems, she was worried about possibly losing the baby at some point before the safe mark.

But thankfully, all was well and now, Mandy Moore is only weeks away from giving birth to her baby boy.
With that being said, the star admitted it all feels ‘real now.’

She has been purchasing baby things online and the actress shared that she got pretty emotional just thinking that she will soon have a ‘little human’ using them!
