Is this a family tradition or something? Just days before the whole college admission scam surfaced, Lori Loughlin’s daughter, Olivia Jade Giannulli opened up about her father’s experience with college.
The girl made a very interesting reveal, which in retrospect seems pretty ironic.
During an interview with the Zach Sang Show, Olivia stated that her dad ‘faked his way through’ college.
‘He did not come from a lot, so it’s cool he built it all himself. He has a crazy story, in college he built his entire brand and he wasn’t actually, I don’t know if I’m supposed to say this, sorry dad, ever enrolled in college. But he faked his way through it and then started his business with tuition money his parents thought was going to college.’
Knowing now that she did not fairly earn her spot in Uni, makes the story she shared much less funny.
‘That’s, like, such a different time. I don’t know if I was supposed to say that, but it’s OK. It’s a cool story,’ she added. Awkward, yikes!
Olivia went on to also talk about why she chose USC and stated that, while it was more her parents pushing her to go to college, she actually really likes it.
‘Mostly my parents wanted me to because they didn’t go to college… That sounds so terrible. They didn’t make me. My sister [Isabella Rose, 20] goes to the same school and we’re pretty much inseparable, so it was nice following in her footsteps but I do like it. It’s also cool to create content from a whole different side of things, like, in school.’
She also listed FOMO (fear of missing out) as one of the reasons she even chose to attend a college in the first place.

Learning all about her high school friends and classmates experiencing college would have felt like she was away from all the fun and memories they would have made together without her.
