It’s time for the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival again. From August 29 through November 23, the park will transform into a smorgasbord of sensory delights, filled with tasty treats, good music, and more. If you’ve never experienced the Food & Wine Festival, you should definitely add it to your Walt Disney World bucket list.

In addition to all the dining options at the festival, there are a number of culinary demonstrations and seminars available. One particularly delectable offering is a class that will train you to become an itamae, or a sushi chef. Well, that’s not exactly true. You won’t be working with raw fish, seaweed, or rice. That’s right! The class will train you to make candy sushi. You’ll make maki or nigari style rolls out of “fun strips”, crisped rice, and gummies.

The classes are held daily at 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. at Sunshine Seasons in the Land Pavilion. Cost is $10 for Guests of all ages. Reservations are not required, but are strongly recommended. Children under 7 must be accompanied by an adult.
