Steve Irwin was known by his birth name as Steve Robert Irwin was born in Essendon, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia on 22nd February, 1962. His father was called Bob Irwin and his mother, Lyn Irwin. Terri Raines and her husband’s footage of filming crocodiles and other breeds of animals became part of their Australian television show The Crocodile Hunter in the year 1992.
