EastEnders fans gobsmacked as Ritchie Scott actress makes surprise appearance in Venom with Tom Hard

Whenever Phil Mitchell is in trouble with the law there's only one woman who can get him out of hot water, Ritchie Scott. The trusted solicitor first appeared in Walford back in 2005 when she was seen advising Peggy Mitchell (Barbara Windsor) on her son's latest court case for armed robbery.

Ritchie has been a sidekick to Phil and the rest of the Mitchell clan ever since and was recently seen in the BBC One soap trying to get the hardman out of prison where he's awaiting trial for conspiracy to murder and refusing to be a police informant.

Actress Sian Webber has played the reoccurring role for 17 years and is no stranger to television with a career spanning 35 years. Her first appearance was in the series Star Cops and Howard's Way in 1987 and has also appeared in the shows Highlander, The Bill, Waterloo Road, Silent Witness, Holby City, Grantchester, and more.

However, the Londoner has recently shocked EastEnders fans as she appears in Venom: Let There Be Carnage as Dr. Pazzo. Although the hit Marvel movie came out last year people have only just realised Webber plays the part.

The superhero flick stars Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock and Venom alongside Michelle Williams, Naomie Harris, Reid Scott, Stephen Graham, and Woody Harrelson

EastEnders viewers have been taking to Twitter to express their surprise, with one person saying: "No way is Ritchie Scott in the new Venom movie being eaten by Woody Harrelson?! We love to see it."

A second had previously written: "Just to warn you all, Phil Mitchell’s old lawyer Ritchie Scott is in #Venom Let There Be Carnage and it really threw me for a few minutes,"

Another recently wrote: "Watching 'Venom: Let There be Carnage' and was confused as to why I recognised the doctor. It's only Sian Webber aka Richie Scott."

When the movie hit cinemas one fan couldn't believe his eyes at seeing the actress and said: "Just been to see Venom: Let There Be Carnage and the biggest shock of the whole film was RITCHIE SCOTT FROM EASTENDERS turning up in it!!"
