IT IS FINALLY HERE, AND BOY WAS IT WORTH THE WAIT!
Carpool Karaoke is a recurring segment on The Late Late Show with James Corden. In this segment, James teams up with a famous singer and drives through the streets of Los Angeles (or in Adele’s case- London), singing their best hits and chatting. Since the show’s premiere in March of 2015, several big-named artists such as Mariah Carey, Stevie Wonder, Justin Bieber, and One Direction, have joined James in the car. When Adele’s newest album 25 came out, it was only a matter of time before fans started begging both her and James to do a Carpool Karaoke together.
Thankfully for us fans, Adele and James teamed up over the Christmas holiday, and created what is sure to go down as one of the most memorable television moments in 2016. The Carpool Karaoke was fifteen minutes long but I could have easily watched two hours of it. Adele’s voice is incredible (per usual), but I was amazed to see how vibrant and hilarious she was. The singer really felt at ease around James, and the familiarity between the two makes for a beautifully intimate video full of laughter and tears.
