A CANCER charity has rejected donations by internet users looking to ease their guilt after looking at hacked naked photos of Hollywood celebrities.
The Prostate Cancer Foundation has issued a statement saying it would return all donations resulting from a post to Reddit urging those who had seen stolen naked photos of Hollywood stars to ease their guilt by donating to what was claimed to be Jennifer Lawrence’s charity of choice.

“A Reddit user directed other Reddit users to make a donation to the Prostate Cancer Foundation without the Foundation’s knowledge,” the statement said.
“We would never condone raising funds for cancer research in this manner. Out of respect for everyone involved and in keeping with our own standards, we are returning all donations that resulted from this post.”
Mashable reported that shortly after news broke that a hacker had released apparently naked photos of hundreds of female celebrities someone set up a post Welcome to the Donation Page of Reddit: The Fappening.
Fap is a slang term used in online communities such as Reddit for masturbating.
The donation page apparently raised more than $6000 before it was closed down.
The charity’s stand comes just hours after Apple confirmed that the leak was not the result of a direct hack attack of its iCloud system but rather as a result of exploiting weak passwords.
