Bill Cosby is more than four months into his three-to-ten-year prison sentence for sexual assault, and no one in his family has visited him – not even his wife of 55 years, Camille. Now, insiders say that after standing by her husband’s side, Camille has realized she’s been in denial about her husband’s horrific crimes, and she is ready to end the marriage.

“Camille is actively getting advice from several of the top divorce lawyers in the country,” an insider recently spilled to Radar Online. “It’s only a matter of time before she files the papers.”

According to court reporters, the disgraced comic was on his own towards the end of his trial for the rape of Andrea Constand. Camille didn’t show, and the only support Bill received was from his legal team because the evidence against him was starting to mount and her husband’s guilt became apparent.

Insiders say that Bill was in denial about Camille’s rejection, but he has now gotten the message since she rarely answers his phone calls and refuses to visit. Plus, she didn’t acknowledge their 55th wedding anniversary last month.

Sources claim that on January 25th – the day of their anniversary – Camille talked to Bill for about four minutes before she hung up. And, it is “obvious she doesn’t care about him anymore.” They add that she makes a point to go for a swim multiple times each day at the exact time she knows he has phone privileges.

Bill is currently incarcerated at SCI Phoenix, a maximum-security state correctional institution located in suburban Philadelphia. But, even though it is only 20 miles from his home in Cheltenham, Bill’s wife and three daughters have not made the trip.

However, his publicist Andrew Wyatt says that the family hasn’t visited because Bill doesn’t want them to be in that environment, and there is no reason to put them in that position and turn things into a circus.

Wyatt also revealed that the 81-year-old Cosby is now in general population and lives in a single cell in a housing unit reserved for veterans. Previously, he was in a private cell near the infirmary.

The publicist says that Cosby believes he is a “political prisoner” who was targeted because of his social and political views.

“He said, ‘They want to entrap me to say I’m remorseful, or to say I did something I didn’t do. I’m not going to fall for it,’” Wyatt said.

Bill Cosby is appealing his conviction for felony sex assault, and he has not stopped thinking about what he wants to do when he gets out of prison, says Wyatt.
