The Vamps kick off their Four Corners Tour tomorrow (27th) at Plymouth Pavilions, marking the start of their 22 date tour. Support for the tour is set to come from New Hope Club at all dates and HRVY at the arena shows taking place during the tour. To prepare fans for the tour the quartet released their new EP Missing You last week which saw The Vamps going back to their older, lyric-focused material which made fans fall in love with them in the first place! Every year we look forward to The Vamps annual tour and here are five reasons we’re so excited for the Four Corners Tour to kick off.
New Music Will Be Getting Its Live Debut
As we mentioned The Vamps released their new EP Missing You last week, the four-track EP which the quartet took creative control on. Taking it back to their roots with tracks like Missing You and Waves, it sees them continuing to experiment with their sound on Right Now which features Krept & Konan. If previous tours are anything to go by expect to hear some of these new tracks making their live debut!
Set Surprises
Whether it’s bringing up friends onstage for collaborations or a Jonnor duet, The Vamps always have some surprises up their sleeves much to the delight of the fans. When we talked to Tristan recently he mentioned bringing out some cool people onstage. Today it was announced Taylor Grey who the band teamed up with on Fallin’ will be joining the tour from May 7th til May 23rd. But who knows what other set surprises will take place. Guesses on a postcard, please!
The Support Acts
Whether it’s Sabrina Carpenter, Jacob Sartorius, New Hope Club or HRVY we’re yet to be disappointed with the support acts The Vamps bring on board for their tours. This year New Hope Club are joining the ride for all shows with HRVY added to the bill at the arena dates. With NHC announcing their new single Love Again is released on 3rd May during the tour, we hope we’ll get a sneaky listen to it at the shows. HRVY has also announced that on 3rd May fans will be able to hear the new music he’s been working on. Will these be showcased on tour? We’ll just have to wait and see…
The Setlist
We touched upon the setlist earlier when we talked about new music getting its live debut. But we absolutely love that every year we have golden oldies like Can We Dance working perfectly alongside newer material like All Night. This Tour Sees The Vamps Making History
Every year we look forward to The Vamps annual arena tour, reuniting with friends, creating new memories and seeing one of our favourite live bands. But this year at the London show the quartet are making history by becoming the first band to do five consecutive years at The O2 Arena. We have a feeling this is going to be an incredibly special show but don’t take our word for it be there to witness it for yourself.
